Peb Hais Lus Hmoob Challenge: Week 20

The Mekong River

The Mekong River is of significance to Hmong people escaping the Vietnam War. It is said that there were approximately 138,000 Hmong people that crossed over this river to safety in Thailand. The Mekong River is about 2,700 miles long, and at some parts can be up to two football fields in width. The journey to escape for safety was not an easy one.

This week's challenge is a dot-to-dot activity to do with your children. We hope that in connecting the dots and showing your children the pictures, your children and you can remember the hardships endured by our people.

Don't forget to share your activities on social media and tag us @TheStoryClothShop and use our #PebHaisLusHmoobChallenge. We would LOVE to see how your children are progressing.
