Honoring Moms 2019

The first generation of Hmong sons and daughters raised in the US will be the only generation that can experience having a mother who had to overcome great obstacles while in Thailand and Laos, and then transition into the United States. Their stories of pain, suffering, grief, courage and resilience is what shaped them into being all that they are to us. For those of us fortunate to have that beautiful bond with our mothers, we appreciate their strength and the time we have with them. 

We hope you spend this weekend honoring your mother, as well as mothers around you whether that is your wife, your daughter, your sister, or the many women in your lives.
